Yiadom Boakye set up the equalizer and then scored a late winner as
Ghana came from behind to beat Portugal, 3-2, and reach the
quarterfinals of the under-20 World Cup in Istanbul. Ghana, the only
African team in the quarterfinals, will play Chile, which beat Croatia,
2-0.
■ The Red Bulls and Juninho Pernambucano, their highest-profile
acquisition of the off-season, have mutually agreed to cancel
