Loren will have some quality company while she spends time on set. The film adaptation is set to be directed by none other than her son Eduardo Ponti.
Filming will take place in multiple cities in Italy including Rome and Naples and will last around three weeks.
Loren's most recent role was as the mother of Daniel Day-Lewis in the 2009 musical Nine. Her last starring role, however, was the 2004 comedy Peperoni Ripieni e Pesci in Faccia (Too Much Romance…It's Time for Stuffed Peppers).

Last year, at the Taormina Film Festival, Loren was honored with a lifetime achievement award for her iconic film career.
"I am very honored to win this wonderful award," the veteran actress said on receiving the prestigious medal.
It looks like Loren has been bitten with the acting bug ever since!

  1. The channel chat today was that Silvio Berlusconi had an affair with Sofia Loren and asked spirit channels to create a diversion so that his wife at the time wouldn't find out... The diversion was the beginning 300,000 of the Rwandan genocide and his attitude when he found out what the diversion was > paraphrasing > they had it coming / "they were wa"
